The hotel and hospitality industry in Ethiopia is rapidly expanding, fueled by growth in tourism, government investment in infrastructure, and an increase in international hotel chains. Addis Ababa, a hub for international organizations, is seeing a major boom in luxury and mid-market hotels, while development is also increasing in tourist destinations all over the country. The government’s focus on tourism and infrastructure, along with a growing diaspora, are key drivers of this growth, which includes a diverse range of lodging from international brands to local establishments and eco-lodges.  The government is actively promoting tourism and investing in infrastructure, such as expanding Bole International Airport and improving road networks.
